"W T F... Where's the Food..."
Nov 09, 2011
"WTF? Where's the food without the farmer?" is the question students at seven universities will be asking classmates tomorrow as part of a new initiative of the group I Love Farmers... They Feed My Soul. Texas A&M University, University of Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, Cal Poly State University, Kansas State University, UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State University will be buzzing with the simple advocacy message of farmers growing food.
The group of young people plans to use their deep roots and dirty boots to show students on their campuses not only how important farmers are, but that agriculture is cool! I find them delightfully provocative, increasingly t
hought provoking and anything but predictable. All great atributes for communicating with and finding common ground with their target audience of young people.
Tomorrow students involved in the initiative plan to broadcast the day's WTF efforts on social media platforms, so follow along! I know I will be, and maybe I'll share some pictures with you! Go ahead and "Like" their Facebook page, "NEW I Love Farmers... They Feed My Soul" you will love their posts and follow the event on Twitter #WTFILF2011. You can also support the cause by posting this image as your profile picture on Facebook or Twitter!
