This recipe was featured in a cookbook put together by my hometown. It was submitted by my Aunt Kathy with a note that it is one of my Dad’s favorite cookies. It is a great NO BAKE cookie. So easy. Charlie’s Chocolate Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bring sugar, milk and butter to a full rolling boil. Pour over oatmeal, cocoa, coconut and vanilla. Stir well and drop by spoonful onto waxed paper.
