The wild horse and burro population on federal lands is growing rapidly and impacting farmers and ranchers. We’ll hear about the battle over management plans for the wild horses.  We’ll also get a Farm Bill update from Farm Bureau’s Mary Kay Thatcher and hear how Missouri Voters will have a say over Right to Farm legislation.

Tuesday

House Ag Committee Chairman Frank Lucas will join us to look ahead to the fight over the Farm Bill on the House floor.  Senator Chuck Grassley will also check in from the other side of the rotunda.

Wednesday

We’ll look at a new study that suggests EPA may be very wrong about agriculture’s contribution to pollution in the Chesapeake Bay.

 

Thursday
May 23

As USDA files new country of origin labeling rules we’ll look at whether Canada is satisfied the changes comply with WTO rules.
