Crop variability remained the theme as Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour scouts made their way across the eastern leg of the Tour. Meanwhile, on the western leg, Nebraska's soybeans were pest- and disease-free.

Chip, I don't know if you missed it or didn't look close enough but here in south central Nebraska most if not all bean fields have bean leaf beetle feeding and also bean stem bore, they are starting to eat a tunnel clear through the stem and branches falling off
