Tracked Tractor Teams

Introducing two new families of Challenger tracked tractors, AGCO presents the MT700E Series and the MT800E Series, both of which feature new AGCO Power engines.

Within the MT700E Series tracked tractors are three models: MT755E (350 hp), MT765E (375 hp) and MT775E (400 hp). Underneath the hood of each is an AGCO Power 9.8, a 9.8-liter diesel engine. The engine offers a 500-hour service interval with flexible oil requirements.

The MT800E Series offers AGCO Power 16.8, a 16.8-liter diesel engine with two-stage turbochargers, accompanied by a CAT powershift trans-mission. The tractors are Tier 4 Final-compliant and do not require a diesel particulate filter. There are four models in the lineup: MT845E (450 hp), MT855E (490 hp), MT865E (540 hp) and MT875E (590 hp). Key features are a three-point hitch with 16,000 lb. lift capacity and a heavy-duty drawbar.

Both tractor series are built with a Mobil-trac undercarriage system, which includes oscillating middle wheels, self-contained inline track system and Marsh Mellow springs. To enhance work conditions, a Pinnacle View cab is paired with an improved lighting package. Standard hydraulic flow is 58 gal. per minute (gpm) with an option to maximize flow to 85 gpm. Claas Model Year 2014 Combines1

Lexion 760TT

Claas introduces its 2014 lineup, including the rounded out 700 Series Lexion combines. Seven models comprise the lineup—the Lexion 670, 730, 730P, 740, 750, 760 and 780. Five models have a Terra Trac option including the new Lexion 670TT—a first for the company’s straw walker model. A road speed of 25 mph, previously available only on the Lexion 750TT, is now also available on the Class 7 Lexion 740TT. All of the new combines feature a bump in horsepower with a range of 320 hp to 543 hp at 1,900 rpm.

The 730, 730P and 780 are all Tier 4 Interim-compliant; the remaining machines in the series are Tier 4 Final-compliant.

The 700 Series includes the Dynamic Cooling system. A center link suspension found in models 730 to 750 provides better weight transfer, a feature also found in Lexion 760 and 780 models using a four-link rear axle. Tires up to 67.3" high can now be used on the machines.

An optional all-wheel drive Power Trac offers added traction through a second hydrostatic drive on the rear axle and can be activated with the press of a button. A new header drive improves performance with larger chopping corn heads and capability of a constant 107 hp output with options of up to 268 hp.

Additional options include a 29.2' auger that unloads 3.8 bu. per second and the Claas Electronic Machine Optimization System. For more, visit www.claas.com.
