Propane Shortage Drives Prices HIgher

The propane shortage in the Upper Midwest is putting a squeeze on prices.

Delayed planting is putting a bottleneck in harvest, and that's creating another problem—a shortage of propane to operate grain dryers.

Shortages are being reported in the Upper Midwest and Plains, including Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Pro Farmer's Davis Michaelsen says don't expect LP prices to come down anytime soon.
