In recent years, crop protection products have come under scrutiny by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the general public for their potential impact on beneficial insects and, in particular, honeybees. In response to those concerns, Bayer CropScience this year will open a new bee care center designed to preserve and promote honeybee populations, according to Dick Rogers, manager of the facility.
In the following video, Rogers shares his perspective on the vision Bayer has for the new center as well as actions farmers can take to provide habitat for honeybees on their land.
