In the below chart, courtesy of Dan Frieberg, of Premier Crop shows, the cost in relation to nutrient investment and corn price over the past 13 years is dramatic. A study Dan did of a grower who used precision farming for 10 years had 7.1 bushels per acre increase per year and the county average was 2.6 per year.
