Gas Prices Stymie Truck Launch

Ever since the previous model launch of the F-150 I’ve heard rumblings of what will come in 2009, and it was going to be big news. Well, being
big isn’t too popular right now with the general public. In response, the anticipated
’09 F-150 will be anticipated for a bit longer.
In short:
The F-150 will show up on dealer lots two months later than scheduled, and Ford will build 90,000 fewer in the second half of the year than planned
For now, Chrysler has not announced a change to their release of the new 2009 Dodge Ram.
However, this news is dogpiled on top of GM’s announcement of pulling back the reins on its build of pickups and SUVs.
