What Company Will Kubota Buy

 I’ll be honest, it takes a certain level of momentum behind a machinery business rumor before I get excited about it. Plenty of people were spreading the early rumor that Kubota might be looking to acquire a company to fulfill its mission to enter the large ag machinery market. (Check out my report on that aspiration here.)

And then, the Wall Street Journal joined the group. And the potential of Kubota making a move to acquire a company drove me to blog about it.

Just a few days ago, Reuters posted this.  

Remember, in 2012 Kubota starting makes its moves to acquire Kverneland, reportedly for its strong presence in the implement market in South America. So already the Japanese machinery maker has shown its interest and ability to expand its lineup and worldwide presence beyond its traditional tractor market.
