Help John Deere Dent Hunger
Nov 02, 2011
John Deere combines are not uncommonly seen harvesting crops in fields across the country during this time of year, but this year, John Deere is seeking a new harvest, they are harvesting cans.
In a new campaign "Project Can Do" the machinery company is asking their fans on Facebook to create a "virtual can" of food, a tin can with their face superimposed on the label. For each virtual can submited the company will donate a real can of food to the cause. The collected cans will be revealed on Nov. 17 in the shape of an S-Series Combine and the cans donated to a local food bank.
So far 848 virtual cans have been submited. Find John Deere on Facebook to learn how to make a virtual can of yourself. Help John Deere "Dent Hunger" today!
