Located in Lincoln Neb., the
Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory puts tractors through their paces. By state law, all tractors 40 hp and above sold in Nebraska must be tested to verify any advertised power ratings. This testing facility is the official testing station for the United States. Twenty-nine countries adhere to the same testing codes of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Due to Nebraska law, almost every tractor sold in the U.S. is tested. The test reports are available in PDF format for free on the lab’s website:
