Yamaha Rhino 700 FI Automatic 4x4
Yamaha Motor Corporation offers a more powerful 2008 version of its side-by-side utility vehicle, the Rhino 700 FI Automatic 4x4. This new liquid-cooled, four-valve, 686-cc SOHC Rhino power plant has been adapted from Yamaha’s Grizzly 700 FI all-terrain vehicle. This results in enhanced low- to mid-range power. The new engine boasts a forged piston for reduced weight and added durability and a new aluminum cylinder body with composite coating that also reduces weight. New roller rocker arms decrease friction in the valve train, allowing the engine to rev more freely, improving performance and throttle response. The side-by-side’s Ultramatic system keeps constant tension on the drive belt to avoid unnecessary wear and tear and eliminate freewheeling. It also offers an on-command push-button twowheel and four-wheel system with differential lock, making it easy to quickly traverse different types of terrain. Base price: $10,499.
