
National gasoline prices were up week-to-week nationally, but fell below year-ago levels. On-highway diesel prices fell week-to-week but climbed year-over.
Gasoline-
Average national retail price for regular gasoline increased just 0.004 to 3.303 per gallon -- 0.088 below year-ago prices.
East Coast gasoline up 0.007 to 3.447; Midwest region posted the strongest gain during the week, adding 0.013 to 3.156; Gulf Coast 0.002 lower to 3.165; Rocky Mountain gasoline 0.068 lower to 2.867 -- boasting the lowest priced gasoline during the report week -- and the West Coast posts a 0.003 increase to 3.491.
Highway Diesel --
National average price for highway diesel 0.017 lower nationwide, ending the report week at 3.894 -- 0.040 above year-ago.
East Coast 0.004 lower to 4.002; Midwest highway diesel down 0.036 to 3.834; Gulf Coast 0.013 lower to 3.824; Rocky Mountain regional diesel drops 0.027 to 3.661 and West coast regional diesel unchanged to end the week at 3.988.
