National gasoline prices were mixed with gains and declines posted both week-over and year-over. Similarly, highway diesel had its share of ups and downs but showed a decline in the national average week-over.

Gasoline-

Average national retail price for regular gasoline climbed just 0.001 to 3.299 per gallon -- 0.083 below year-ago prices.

East Coast gasoline 0.037 higher to 3.440; Midwest region down 0.078 to 3.143 -- 0.213 below year-ago levels; Gulf Coast 0.060 higher to 3.167; Rocky Mountain gasoline leads decliners -- 0.081 lower to 2.935 and the West Coast posts a 0.031 increase to 3.488.

Highway Diesel --

National average price for highway diesel 0.007 lower nationwide, ending the report week at 3.911, 0.083 above year-ago.

East Coast unchanged at 4.006; Midwest highway diesel down 0.015 to 3.870; Gulf Coast 0.007 higher to 3.837; Rocky Mountain regional diesel drops 0.058 to 3.688 and West coast regional diesel slides 0.003 to end the week lower at 3.988.
