
National gasoline and highway diesel prices rose across the board again for the third consecutive report week and while a few spots saw gasoline declines compared to the same time last year, diesel rallies week-over and year-over-- again.
Gasoline-
Average national retail price for regular gasoline climbed $0.073 to $3.611 per gallon -- $0.088 above year-ago prices.
East Coast gasoline up $0.057 to $3.648; Midwest region adding $0.069 to $3.582; Gulf Coast $0.051 higher to $3.383; Rocky Mountain gasoline moves $0.130 higher to $3.274 and West Coast $0.129 higher to $3.867.
Highway Diesel --
National average price for highway diesel $0.082 higher nationwide, ending the report week at $4.104 -- $0.161 above year-ago.
East Coast $0.064 higher to $4.152; Midwest highway diesel up $0.102 to $4.080; Gulf Coast $0.056 higher to $3.997; Rocky Mountain regional diesel increases $0.120 to $3.964 and West Coast regional diesel up $0.099 to end the week higher at $4.265.
Crude Oil --
March 2013 WTI Crude oil spent the last week making eyes at $98.00 but trailed lower late in the week, falling $1.74 already today to $95.57 (9:30CT). Established support is just above $95.10. A fall below that level will signal softer crude ahead.
