National gasoline prices edged up slightly, and highway diesel climbed in all areas except one.
Gasoline --
Average national retail price for regular gasoline a shade higher over the report week by 0.008 to $3.437/gallon -- 0.130 higher than the same time last year.
East Coast gasoline 0.006 higher to $3.485/gallon -- declines at PADD1A and PADD1B on the East coast held region-wide increases in check; Gulf Coast 0.007 higher to $3.173; Midwest gasoline increases 0.043 during the report week to $3.387/gallon.
Rocky Mountain gasoline lower 0.036 to $3.473; West Coast down 0.039 to $3.668.
Highway Diesel --
National average price for highway diesel up 0.058 to $4.034/gallon.
East Coast diesel 0.040 higher to $4.092; Midwest diesel also higher adding 0.114 to $4.023/gallon. Gulf Coast highway diesel 0.037 higher to $3.902; West Coast 0.021 higher to $4.115.
Rocky Mountain diesel posts the only declines week-over -- less 0.045 to $4.059.
All regions were higher than the same time last year with the exception of West Coast PADD5, California and Rocky Mountain PADD4, which all showed year-over declines.
