Residential heating oil prices eased again during the reporting week ending November 5, 2012 while residential propane increased slightly.
The average residential heating oil price was down another penny/gallon week-over to $3.98 -- 11 cents higher than a year ago. Wholesale heating oil prices decreased 12 cents/gallon last week to $3.11/gallon -- 9 cents lower year-over.
The average price of residential propane was higher by 2 cents/gallon to $2.40/gallon -- 41 cents lower year-over. Wholesale propane prices fell nearly 2 cents during the reporting week to an even $1.00/gallon -- 47 cents lower than the same time last year.
