Land Sale of the Week: 359 Acres in Saunders Co, Nebraska

A large tract of land located just west of Ashland, Neb, attracted some interesting selling prices at its recent auction. The property involved featured a total of 359 acres of dryland cropland offered in four tracts. The ground is located just west of Ashland in a highly productive farming area and away from the influence of development.

Tract 1 totaled 120 acres with 113 acres tillable. It carried a SRPG (soil rating for plant growth 0 - 100) of 69.4 and brought $10,400 per acre.

Tract 2 totaled 79 acres with 74 acres tillable. It also carried a SRPG of 69.4. It sold for $7,750 per acre.

Tract 3 offered 80 acres with 74 acres tillable. It carried a SRPG of 70.3 and sold for $8,025 an acre.

Tract 4 was 80 acres with 73 acres tillable. It had a SRPG of 71.3. It brought $6,900 an acre.
