Learn the Basics of Marketing at Workshop

Jerry Gulke, president of Gulke Group and Top Producer Market Strategy columnist, highlights market fundamentals during December workshop.

The Gulke Group will host a Technical Analysis Workshop Dec. 5-6 in Chicago, Ill., where participants will get a better handle on marketing techniques for 2014.

The workshop will kickoff at 1 p.m. Dec. 5 with an introduction to futures and options. Jerry Gulke, president of Gulke Group and Top Producer Market Strategy columnist and his team will cover technical analysis made simple, moving averages, MACD, trailing stops and highlight how to use fundamentals with technicals.

You will also hear the current fundamental outlook. The workshop will wrap up at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 with a brief discussion on how to use these tools to predict price movements and be more effective with hedging.

This workshop coincides with Top Producer's Executive Women in Agriculture (EWA) Conference, which will also be held Dec. 5-6. If your spouse is traveling to EWA, consider a few days in Chicago to help improve your marketing skills for 2014, as margins are expected to be much tighter than the past few years.
