With three models, Massey Ferguson introduces the 4600 Series heavy-duty utility tractors. Powered by AGCO Power engines compliant to Tier 4 Interim standards, the series includes models rated at 75 hp, 85 hp, and 95 hp.

The 4600 models are available in 4wd, with 2wd available on order and the option for an enclosed cab or open-station with ROPS.

All three tractors come standard with a 12F/12R  power-shuttle transmission, which makes back-and-forth loader work quick and convenient. Gears are fully synchronized, allowing for smooth shifting using the foot clutch while on the roll. When quick direction changes are needed, an electronically controlled, wet multi-disc clutch lets the operator shuttle the tractor, changing the direction of travel simply by flipping a lever rather than using the foot clutch. Another feature which matches this tractor for loader work is the optional factory-installed hydraulic joystick and two mid-mount valves to connect the loader’s hydraulics.

The Massey Ferguson 4600 Series boasts an open-center hydraulic system, with gear-type pump, that delivers 17.1 gallons per minute of total oil flow. The hydraulic system also controls the three-point hitch, which has a lift capacity of 3,417 pounds at 24 inches. Three choices in hydraulic valves include the simple spring return to neutral (SRN), kick-out (KO), or kick-out and float (KO/FL) valve types.
