Eliminate Hand Tying
The Gripple T-Clip offers a revolutionary way to start or terminate a fence.
A thumb-size device with two hooks, it replaces knotting and stapling wires with a fast, simple action: twist and push the T-Clip onto the wire; wrap the wire around the post; and feed the tail wire back into the T-Clip channel. The T-Clip works with all types of stock fence, and wire stands up to 440 lb. of tension load. The standard T-Clip handles 10- to 14-gauge smooth wire and 15.5-gauge dual-strand, high-tensile barbed wire. The T-Clip Barb is for larger-gauge, dual-strand barbed wire. Price: T-Clip, $1.10 to $1.37 each;T-Clip Barb, $1.50 to $1.98 each. Contact: Gripple, Inc., 1510 Hubbard Ave., Batavia, IL 60502; (630) 406-0600; www.gripple.com.
Electronic Fuel Injected Welders
Miller Electric’s Trailblazer 302 and Bobcat 250 are the only engine-driven, twin-cylinder welder generators with electronic fuel injection (EFI). The EFI saves up to $1,000 per year in fuel costs, eliminates carburetor icing, ensures easy starting and reduces hydrocarbon, nitrogen and carbon monoxide emissions. The Trailblazer 302 welds 280 amps at 100% duty cycle (300 amps for wire welding) and the Bobcat 250 welds 250 amps (275 amps for wire). Weld output and generator power of both models is 12,000 peak/10,500 continuous watts, and both provide stick, MIG, flux cored, AC/DC TIG and gouging capability. Price: Trailblazer 302 starts at $4,927, Bobcat 250 at $4,257. Contact: Miller Electric Mfg. Co., 1635 W. Spencer St., Appleton, WI 54912; (920) 734-9821; www.millerwelds.com.

Reduce Cutting Time
Corona Clipper expands its line of tree-care tools with the QuickSaw 7900 fixed-blade and 7800 folding-blade handsaws, designed to reduce cutting time by up to 20%. The QuickSaw's patent-pending tooth pattern design keeps the cut channel free of sawdust during cuts, reducing the amount of time and energy needed. Blades are made of SK4 high-carbon steel and are hard-chrome-plated for durability. The QuickSaw’s taper-ground design reduces friction between the blade and material being cut, while the hook on the blade’s tip helps keep it in the cutting channel, minimizing the time lost for reinserting blades. Suggested retail price: folding saw, $37.45; fixed-blade saw, $60.95; limited lifetime warranty. Through Oct. 31, Corona is offering a free replacement blade with purchase of a QuickSaw (up to a $45 retail value).
