Attend a conference designed for young farmers

Tomorrows Top Producer Logo FINALYoung producers are a vital component of the future of farming. To help prepare this group of leaders for the challenges ahead, Top Producer, a sister publication of Farm Journal, is holding its annual Tomorrow’s Top Producer conference on Jan. 29, at the Hilton Chicago hotel in downtown Chicago.

Attendees will hear from leading industry speakers and have the opportunity to network with fellow young farmers and previous Top Producer of the Year finalists and winners. Geared toward farmers age 35 and younger, this event is held the day before the annual Top Producer Seminar begins.

A day of learning. Topics to be discussed include marketing, succession planning, business management and new technology. Speakers will reveal what’s ahead in farmland trends, how to build meaningful working relationships, the basics of commodity markets, and tips for balancing work and family activities.

In addition to the Tuesday conference, attendees can sign up to visit the historic Chicago Board of Trade on Wednesday morning as a special extension of the event. You’ll be able to watch the opening bell activity, as well as visit with agricultural traders and marketing experts. Space is limited for this optional tour.

Plan to join us. Registration is now open. The cost to attend is $169 (hotel fees are not included). Attendees of Tomorrow’s Top Producer conference can also receive a discount to attend the Top Producer Seminar that follows. Visit to register.

Sponsors of the event are Agrotain, Farm Credit Services and SFP.
