Who works harder than farmers, and in particular, cattlemen? Pick any day of the winter, summer, spring or fall, and most of us will agree farmers take the cake. Now is your chance to prove it—and win some prizes.
Carhartt and Cintas Corporation, North America’s largest uniform supplier, started the “Are You Carhartt Tough” contest in conjunction with their recent announcement to offer Carhartt garments for the first time in a Uniform Rental Program.
Contest organizers say they want to reach out to the American workforce to identify people who are strong, dependable, resilient and rugged. (Sounds like the ag community to me!) To enter, go to www.CarharttRental.com to submit a short essay and photograph.
Three finalists will be announced each quarter, and after a year’s time, all twelve finalists will be featured on the contest website where the public will be encouraged to cast votes for the toughest of the tough. Two Grand Prize winners will receive a weekend duck hunt trip designed by Ducks Unlimited or a trip to The Stihl Timbersports Series in 2011.
