1941 John Deere Model HNH

This 1941 Model HNH is featured in the Art of the John Deere Tractor.
This narrow configuration model based on the Model H and was produced for less than a year from March 11, 1941 to January 23, 1942. Of the 37 tractors made, one was shipped to Lordsburg New Mexico and the rest went to dealers and customers in California. The Model HNH features a rear-axle housing that allows for increased ground clearance needed by California row crop farmers.
The machines in The Art of the John Deere Tractor
by Lee Klancher were hand selected from the more than 400 John Deere tractors in the collect of Walter and Bruce Keller. The Brillion, Wisc. father and son team have more than 600 tractors spread across seven buildings and a custom-built brick showroom with glass windows. In the book 30 tractors were photographed in studio built on the Keller farm for this book which aims to highlight the design, style and art of the John Deere tractor history.
