1966 Ford 4000 with Ford Model 602 Corn Picker

Oct 17, 2012

This tractor is featured for the month of October in the 2013 Classic Farm Tractors Calendar.
That’s Missouri’s state capitol in Jefferson City framed by this beautiful blue Ford and two-row corn picker with Halloween pumpkins waiting to be picked and carved in “Fischer’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze.” Ford’s Model 602 corn picker was a winner. Its design made it a kernel-saving miser at the husking rollers, proven by championship wins at local and national picking contests. The Ford 4000 featured Select-O-Speed power shift transmission, and a diesel engine (201 cid) that produced 45.62 PTO hp, and was thrifty on fuel. The tractor has only 2,850 actual hours and is in excellent condition. Picker restoration took time.

Not only does this attractive Ford tractor and corn picker draw the attention of Halloween customers, there’s also a 1931 Ford Model AA one-ton flatbed truck to add to the barnyard ambiance at their pumpkin patch and corn maze.
