1973 Oliver Model 75 and Model 125H
Oct 31, 2011
This tractor is featured for the month of November in the Classic Farm Tractor Calendar.
They were sold only in 1973 by Jacobson with an Oliver badge, so these riding lawn mowers are quite collectible today. The Oliver T&C were offered in four different sizes, but there were actually five models: the 75, 105, 125G, 125H, and 145.
The Model 75 was smallest with a gear drive and 7 hp Briggs & Stratton engine. List price was $760.
The Model 125H was a hydrostat unit powered by a 12 hp Kohler engine.
The 75 weighed 750 lb., the 125H 770 lb. The Model 145 was the Deluxe version. It featured a 14 hp Kohler engine, with balancing internal counterweights, hydrostatic drive transmission, hydraulic lift and lights. How rare are the Oliver T&C mowers? Oliver experts believe fewer than 400 units were built.
