As a teaser for tomorrow’s show, Oprah and her 378 staff members announced that they are GOING VEGAN for one week. “The Challenge is on! No meat, no milk, no animal anything.”

Really? Really, Oprah? You are going without “NO ANIMAL ANYTHING” for entire week. Veganism does not stop at what you place in your mouth.
Let me share my favorite poster
While the promo to tomorrow’s episode may only be highlighting a diet without meat, milk, eggs; the "no animal anything" caught my attention. As the poster carefully explains animals provide items we use every day. Many who chose the Vegan way of life carefully select cosmetics and clothing without animal products. However, if you truly take a Vegan Challenge for a week then how do you live in modern housing with air filters, plaster, wallpaper, adhesives, plastic pipes, cement, rubber, lamination, and waterproofing agents? (Just to name a few)
Furthermore as the GO VEGAN show airs tomorrow in Chicago, the home of the Oprah Show, will be experiencing a blizzard; one would think the 379 individuals would be more thankful that our four-legged friends provide important items like insulation and anti-freeze.
As I write this blog, loyal viewers of the Oprah Show are applauding her for placing “Vegan” in the mainstream headlines this week. I agree Oprah you have my attention. The promo states you are going to take us inside a meat packing plant and feature Superstar Michael Pollan. You right as a passionate care-taker of livestock I cannot afford to miss this episode and be prepare to share the Truth about animal agriculture in the aftermath. I will be hopefully watching at the normal scheduled time but not until I have battled the elements to care for my herd of cattle in downstate Illinois.
