Corn Planting at 5% Complete -- Will DEC Futures Rally?

The weekly crop progress showed corn planting at 5% complete compared to 49% last year and 31% for the 5-year average. Winter wheat slid further down to 33% on the good-to-excellent rating. Export inspections continued in their patter with wheat exceeding expectations, soybeans at the high end of expectations, and corn within expectations.
