Digital Book Appeals To Young People Planning Their Careers

More than 20,000 agriculture jobs go unfilled each year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Many of those are opportunities in fields that offer job seekers a good standard of living and long-term professional growth—from engineering and education to marketing and technology.

To help spread the word, AgCareers.com has created a digital e-book to inspire young people to consider careers in agriculture. The company says the e-book is designed as a guide for students and young people considering their career opportunities by presenting them with a current, in-depth, thorough, and real view of the agricultural industry.

Two versions of the digital e-book have been created: one features the AgCareers.com career profiles and one does not. The company recommends sharing the version including the career profiles with high school and early college students. The version without the career profiles is better suited to more advanced college and university students or young professionals. Both are available at the following links:
