Top Producer Frontier Study Tour offers unique look at Canadian farming
Join Top Producer for a chance to learn more about our neighbors to the north. The Top Producer Frontier Study Tour is offering U.S. farmers a unique look at Canada's ag industry.
Starting in Regina, Saskatchewan, and ending in Calgary, Alberta, you'll learn about northern crop production, resistance issues, technology, marketing shifts and land opportunities from Canadian farmers and industry suppliers.
Stops will include Canada's largest farm show, the Bayer CropScience cereals lab and a once-in-a-lifetime potash mine tour, with several farm visits along the way.
You'll also get to meet the Hudye family, a 2010 Top Producer of the Year finalist, and learn more about their operation.
The tour will end in Calgary, where you can tour the city before heading home, or stay on for the Calgary Stampede.
Deadline to register is May 29. The tour is limited to 20 attendees, so make your reservations soon.
