Perdue Nomination Hearing Date Set for Next Week

After much speculation, Sonny Perdue, secretary of agriculture nominee, has a formal hearing date set.

According to the Senate Ag Committee, the hearing will begin March 23 and the Russell Senate Office Building. So far, a time has not been set.

Earlier this week, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Ia., predicted the hearing would take place sometime next week.
