$200 Double Your Money Winner: Sliding Tool Caddy
I have three tables lined up in my shop. With this sliding tool caddy that hangs from the ceiling, my tools are always exactly where I need them. The pine and plywood caddy measures 4' wide, 1' deep and is 30" high. I took an old barn door track, screwed it to the ceiling and used the orginal bolts to hang the barn door to hang the tool caddy. We raise cattle, pigs, soybeans, wheat and corn.
Grain Box Funnels Corn
Managing the corn flow over the drive-over pit was always a mess so I made this four-sided grain box with no bottom from leftover plywood and 2'x4' boards. The box funnels the corn and when it fills, the flow slows down and feeds itself without having to be watched.
Grate Tools For Dairy Barn
Lifting grates behind the cows in a stanchion barn can be hard on your back. To make the task easier, we welded some leftover pipe together to create hooks. The hooks fit easily into the spaces in the grates and allow you to move them quickly without too much strain.
