162-Mile Pipeline Through Largest River Swamp in U.S. Faces Lawsuit

The U.S. continues to build its oil infrastructure, including work on a new pipeline through the swamps of Louisiana.

The line would tie the Baken Oil Field in North Dakota to refineries on the Gulf of Mexico.

Environmental groups are suing the Army Corps of Engineers for damage they claim is being done to the environmentally fragile Atchafalaya Basin.
