Wondering which parts of the new farm bill will affect your operation? USDA recently released a side-by-side comparison tool to help producers decipher the 2008 Farm Bill.

By visiting the 2008 Farm Bill Side-by-Side Comparison Web site, you can easily compare previous legislation to the new farm bill's wording. You can look up farm bill provisions by title, and then read related Economic Research Service publications. A user's guide and search function are also available.

The side-by-side comparison is not a comprehensive source of the 2008 Farm Bill, but does reference key provisions.

A complete digest of the 2008 Farm Bill is available for download from the site.
