8/17/2015 Lincoln County, SD: Had an excellent 2" rain last night. For the first time in 4 years we can say that in this area we have caught timely rains! Crops are looking great and hopes are high, just hoping the Pro Farmer brings some insight and a reality check on yields for the USDA.
8/11/2015 Minnehaha County, SD: Things look good her in SE SD and that's all I'm going to say because I've been on the other side and it's not fun listening to braggers, I mean farmers! Good luck!
7/21/2015 Minnehaha County, SD: Not much small grain here but oats are being harvested, haven't heard any yields! Need rain, things still holding on pretty good!
7/16/2015 Minnehaha County, SD: Things in SE South Dakota look pretty good, corn is tasseling and beans shaded and blooming.
