25x'25 Renewable Energy Alliance Supports Ag Connect Expo 2010

July 20, 2009 10:16 AM
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) announced that the 25x'25 renewable energy alliance has endorsed the Ag Connect Expo 2010. In January, the alliance will be present at the Ag Connect Expo, which will be held in Orlando, Fla. How the alliance will be expanding the role of agriculture in meeting the world's energy needs will be a key part of the expo.
In addition to supporting the expo, 25x'25 is a sponsor of the renewable energy exhibit pavilion, where agribusiness professionals will be able to examine the latest energy technologies and innovations for renewable sources such as biofuels, wind and solar. The alliance will also sponsor a renewable-energy track in the show's educational programming that will focus on climate change and global opportunities and challenges for the agriculture and forestry industry sectors.
The 25x'25 renewable energy alliance is a national initiative with the goal of obtaining 25% of U.S. energy needs from agricultural and other renewable resources by the year 2025.
