The theme for this year’s Top Producer Seminar is, “Chart Your Course to Profits,” and will focus on new business tactics and meet farmers from around the country. Tomorrow’s Top Producer is a conference specifically for young farmers, age 35 and under, and will help prepare the next generation of farmer-leaders.

Here are 6 reasons you must attend:

  1. This year’s Top Producer Seminar keynote speaker is world-class sailor, Emmy Award-winning television commentator and author Gary Jobson.  He’s the author of 18 sailing books and editor at large of Sailing World and Cruising World magazines. His presentation entitled “Sailing: Speed and Passion” looks back on the history of the America’s Cup and covers his sailing career, which includes winning the America's Cup in 1977 as tactician for media mogul Ted Turner.

  2. You can network with hundreds of producers and learn from more than 30 thought-provoking and inspiring experts.

  3. Meet the 2015 Top Producer of the Year and Tomorrow’s Top Producer Horizon Award winners. The Horizon Award winner will be recognized on Tuesday, Jan. 20 and the Top Producer of the Year will be announced on Thursday during the evening banquet.

  4. Learn how big data and drones will revolutionize the farm from David Hunt, founder of Agrilarity in Ireland. He will speak on Thursday afternoon.

  5. Young farmers can learn lessons from previous tight farm times. Jerry Gulke, president of the Gulke Group, will share such insights when he kicks off the Tomorrow’s Top Producer conference on Tuesday morning.

  6. You can learn what's ahead in the 2015 markets on Thursday morning, via a live taping of U.S. Farm Report. It will feature market experts Mark Gold, Dan Basse and Alan Brugler.

Early-bird registration rates expire Dec. 29.
