$9,600/acre in Southeast South Dakota

A March 30 auction saw 75 acres in Lincoln Co., S.D., sell for $9,600 an acre. The farm was located eight miles south of Harrisburg, S.D., and offered 72 level, tillable acres of cropland. The soil PI was 85.8. The property still had one housing eligibility remaining.

  there are fools born every day.....and fools and their money will soon be parted........and that sale was a perfect example. Good for Chuck!! He needs the money!! it appears only the auctioneers and realtors are the ones making money on these land sales......well those and the smart sellers!!
