An aspiring research agronomist is sharing his knowledge with agricultural journalists at the Ag Media Summit in St. Paul Minn., this week. Plymouth, Ind., Jr. High student Evan Davenport has wowed science fair judges with his project studying soil inoculants. Davenport, who says he’s not ready for college just yet, did the project to enhance his knowledge of soils and how soybeans work in a crop rotation with corn.
