AEM/NACD Recognizes Conservation

AEM in conjunction with the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) awarded two U.S. conservation districts for their efforts of local conservation through efficient equipment use.

The Independence County Conservation District in Batesville, Ark. received the "Defining Conservation Needs for the Future" award for meeting conservation goals through equipment adaptation ideas/utilization.

The Huron Soil and Water Conservation District in Norwalk, Ohio received the "Excellence in Conservation Equipment and Technology Use" award for achieving measurable conservation benefits through effective use of equipment and technology.

Both districts have an equipment rental program for landowners.
