Ag Needs "Perception Change" on Farm Economy Outlook

January 19, 2017 12:55 PM

According to Doug Werling of Bower Trading, news of the struggling farm economy looms in agriculture.  However, he says things aren’t as bad as what they seem.

“We got used to the golden years where you go plant a crop and make some good money,” said Werling. “Things are changing.”

Werling is calling for a “perception change,” citing what happened with oil and gas in 2016.

Watch Werling discuss what changes need to be made on AgDay above.
