TODAY ON AGDAY
NOVEMBER 28, 2014

OPEN HEADLINES:
COMING UP TODAY ON AGDAY A DAY OF INNOVATION....MEET A MAN KNOWN FOR SEEING THE WORLD OF FARMING THROUGH A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE. PLUS, A TRACTOR COMPETITION NOT BUILT ON BEAUTY IT'S...BUILT ON SPEED. AN ARKANSAS WOMAN FINDS HER INSPIRATION IN THE OZARKS. A MONTANA RANCHER IS FINDING HIS LIVING IN THE PREHISTORIC FOSSILS SCATTERED ACROSS HIS PROPERTY. AND THE RESURGANCE OF AN ANCIENT ART BLACKSMITHING GAINS IN POPULARITY. AGDAY-BROUGHT TO YOU BY CHEVY SILVERADO 2014 NORTH AMERICAN TRUCK OF THE YEAR.
TRACTOR BUILD:
FROM INNOVATIVE PEOPLE TO INNOVATIVE MACHINES…THE FERGUSON TRACTOR WAS BUILT TO BE REBUILT AND QUICKLY. THE FERGUSON ENTHUSIASTS OF AMERICA RECENTLY MET IN LA GRANGE, INDIANA TO NOT ONLY SHARE LOVE FOR THEIR FAVORITE BRAND, BUT TO REBUILD A TRACTOR JUST LIKE IT WAS DONE THE FIRST TIME.  AGDAY'S BETSY JIBBEN HAS THE STORY.
TRACTOR FRIENDS:
THANKS BETSY. THE FERGUSON ENTHUSIASTS OF NORTH AMERICA WEREN'T THE ONLY ONES IN ON THE FUN.  SOME OF THEIR FRIENDS FROM EUROPE WHO STARTED THE FIRST EVER BUILD COMPETITION, ATTENDED TOO.  MEN FROM SCOTLAND, ENGLAND AND IRELAND MADE THE TREK OVERSEAS TO WATCH THE BUILD AND PARTICIPATE IN A PLOW DAY.
THEY TRAVEL TO AMERICA SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR TO BE PART OF FERGUSON TRACTOR EVENTS JUST LIKE THIS ONE.  IRELAND NATIVE SAMUEL NEILL SAYS IT'S A WAY TO PROMOTE THE CLUB AND SHOW HOW EASY IT IS TO RESTORE AND USE OLD TRACTORS.
TEASE:
UP NEXT A CREATIVE ARKANSAS WOMAN IS FINDING HER VOICE AND HER CANVAS AT THE BOTTOM OF A STREAM.
ITC ROCK PAINTER:
INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY OFTEN GO HAND IN HAND. OF COURSE, THERE ARE MANY ARTISTIC MEDIUMS TO CHOOSE FROM - CANVAS, CLAY, AND COLORS.  BUT FOR LIN WELLFORD OF CARROLL COUNTY ARKANSAS, SHE FINDS HER BLANK SLATE AT THE BOTTOM OF A STREAM IN THE OZARKS.  STEVE GRANT FROM AFFILIATE K-Y-THREE SAYS LIN'S LOVE OF NATURE INSPIRES HER ART FORM.
TEASE:
THANKS STEVE. WHEN WE COME BACK, MEET THE DINOSAUR COWBOY--A MAN MAKING HIS LIVING UNEARTHING HERDS FROM THE PAST.
ITC DINOSAUR COWBOY:
SOMETIMES, SURVIVING ON THE LAND MEANS DISCOVERING INNOVATIVE WAYS TO EARN A LIVING...MONTANA IS KNOWN BY MANY AS "CATTLE COUNTRY", BUT THE STATE IS ALSO A 'PALEONTOLOGIST'S PARADISE.' THE TERRAIN OF THE TREASURE STATE ACCOMMODATES ARCHAEOLOGY, THE LIVESTOCK BUSINESS, AND "THE DINOSAUR COWBOY." CLIFF NAYLOR FROM AFFILILATE KFYR REPORTS…
MAMMOTH RANCH:
THANKS CLIFF.  THE DINOSAUR COWBOY ISN'T THE ONLY RANCHER UNEARTHING HISTORIC FINDS. WAYNE MCEWEN AND HIS MARTY RANCH NEAR ITALY TEXAS…THEY RECENTLY DUG UP THEIR OWN GIANT DISCOVERY.
TEASE:
UP NEXT A GREAT AMERICA BARN, LONG ON INNOVATIONS BUT SHORT ON CORNERS…WE'RE OFF TO NORTHERN INDIANA AFTER THE BREAK.
GAB TAG:
AND WE'D LOVE TO SHOWCASE YOUR BARN ON AGDAY AS WELL! SEND US A FEW PICTURES TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR SCREEN. YOU CAN ALSO EMAIL THE PICS AND BARN INFO TO "GREAT AMERICAN BARNS AT AGDAY DOT COM".
CLOSE:
THAT'S ALL THE TIME WE HAVE THIS MORNING. WE'RE GLAD YOU TUNED IN.
