AgDay Weather: Storms to Roll Through U.S. Next Week

The AgDay Weather Team is expecting the storms to continue through next week.

“Another trough comes in towards the middle part of next week bringing some stormy weather then,” says Cindi Clawson with the AgDay Weather Team.

This comes during a time when farmers in the Northern Plains continue to dig out of a spring blizzard.

“We will still see that snow as we head into the day [Saturday} but it’s going to continue to move on to the North,” says Clawson.

“We will still see scattered higher elevation snow to the Northwest and parts of the Southern Plains as well.”

However, the Southeast will continue to stay saturated too.

“We really start to pick up moisture with our system down in the Southern Plains [and] in the Gulf Coast states,” says Cindi Clawson of the AgDay Weather Team. “That’s going to keep moving to the Northeast as we get into the rest of the weekend.”
