LEAVE A LEGACY:

WELCOME TO LEAVE A LEGACY. SUCCESSION STARTS WITH A DESIRE. AS IT HEATS UP THAT MAY TURN INTO AN INTENTION---WHICH IGNITES INTO A GOAL. FOR MOST, THE PLANNING PROCESS CAN BE CONFUSING AND OVERWHELMING. A LOT OF FARMERS ASK, "WHAT DO I DO? WHO CAN HELP? IS A PLAN REALLY NECESSARY?" TODAY, WE HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF VISITING WITH DOCTOR BOB MILLIGAN. HE'S SENIOR CONSULTANT WITH DAIRY STRATEGIES AND A PROFESSOR EMERITUS FROM CORNELL UNIVERSITY. BOB FOCUSES ON PROVIDING INSIGHT TO MANAGERS; PRESENTING COMPLEX LEADERSHIP CONCEPTS IN FORMATS THAT ARE UNDERSTANDABLE AND PRACTICAL. WE'LL DISCUSS THOSE ISSUES WITH BOB IN A MOMENT, BUT FIRST WE HEAD TO VALLEY FORD, CALIFORNIA TO MEET A FIFTH GENERATION FARMER AND SECOND GENERATION CHEESE-MAKER WHO HOPES TO LEVERAGE A LOCAL REPUTATION OF QUALITY PRODUCTS INTO A WORLD-WIDE BRAND. TYNE MORGAN HAS OUR STORY.
