AgPro Podcast: Helping Retailers with Positive Product Stewardship

May 30, 2019 01:16 PM

Tim Stoehr of Albaugh discusses where crop protection services could head in the future, how the tariff war between the U.S. and China is having an impact on supply and disruptions, and his optimism for agriculture.

On the AgPro Podcast with Ashley Davenport, voices from the industry asked, "How is your company positioned to help retailers with the biggest trends in crop inputs?"

Tim Stoher
Overland Park, Kan.

Director of Development and Marketing, Albaugh

A: There is an increasing focus on product stewardship--how we apply individual products, the impact of additives on the spray pattern, timing of application and resistance management. The opportunity is for more innovation in the market. You don't see as many new molecules being launched as 20 years ago, but what we're seeing is different combinations, different application methods, different additives working together to provide a better result for the grower. It's an opportunity for the retailer and grower to get quality products at a better value than they had in the past.
