A good mix of issues for your Tuesday AgriTalk. Host Chip Flory starts things off talking to Robert White, VP of Industry Relations for the RFA. They discuss E15 and Robert’s role in educating the public about the benefits of the blend. Robert says he doesn’t expect to see a cap on RINS. After that he talks to David Englund, a Senior VP with Farmers National in Omaha. David is on to talk about land prices and availability. He says there are some trends out there that are leading to more land being available close to planting season, and gives insight on some changes over the past few years in the market. To finish things off Dr. Vincent Malanga, President of LaSalle Economics, gives us his look at the state of the economy. It would be fair to say he has no trouble telling listeners how he really feels about some things in Washington.
