Farmers from Ohio, Illinois and Indiana were part of a mini-Farmer Forum at the Precision Technology Institute at Precision Planting in Tremont, Ill. Farmers talk about the importance of harnessing and understanding data, and how that data factors into the price picture.
Economic, Market Analysis
Technology on the farm has changed rapidly in a short period of time. Todd “Bubba” Horowitz of Bubba Trading, said farmers can practically live in their tractors. This change in technology has transformed the dynamics of the market. Currently, the lack of sellers in the markets are going to cause the markets to drift, possible to the upside, according to Horowitz. The complacency in the markets could end in disaster.
