Today on AgriTalk, Jim Mintert of Purdue University discusses the latest Ag Economy Barometer results and Machinery Pete breaks down some auctions from across the country.

The latest Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer was released last week with a major rebound in sentiment from the September report to the October report. Jim Mintert, director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture at Purdue University and one of the authors of the barometer, says the survey results for October are reflecting more optimistic about the future. He also discusses a survey question specifically geared for soybean growers and acreage for 2019.

Mondays mean Machinery Pete on AgriTalk. He shares some highlights of auctions in Iowa and Minnesota from the weekend, new record prices on John Deere 4020 and 4230 tractors, his pick of the week, and the official kickoff to farm machinery auction season.
