Bayer and Monsanto’s merger isn’t the only one happening.
Canadian fertilizer giants Agrium and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan announced their plans to join forces on Monday.
This move creates one of the largest crop nutrient companies in the world, nearly $21 billion in annual revenue.
Combined, the companies would tout nearly 20,000 employees and have a value of $36 billion.
In late August, the companies first announced they were in preliminary discussions of merging.
